I love shoes. My husband can tell you that. I have a collection of them. I had to downgrade since our place isn’t very big. A coworker of mine bought a pair of brand new shoes over the weekend. She wore them to work yesterday. I must say, they were very cute, trendy and chic. Unfortunately they hurt her feet all day. The cut of the shoe wasn’t agreeing with her feet. She wore them the entire 8.5hrs. This morning she walked in with flip-flops. She said they were the only shoes she could wear. Side note-flip flops are not allowed (policy), but that’s another subject we won’t get into. She said the sides of the shoes had created bruises on the side of her feet. She even had to bandage one side. I said, "The price you pay for hot shoes huh"? She agreed. It reminded me of the "Friends" episode, when Monica bought those expensive boots. After wearing them for a day or so, they made her feet ache. And she wouldn’t tell Chandler this. Remember he told her she had to wear them everyday or something like that because she had to make good use of them. And every time she would wear them they would create more and more pain for her. Funny episode….she later tells him the truth about them being painful. Ever experienced this? I remember buying a really chic pair of heels, after the 2nd day, they hurt sooo badly!!!! Luckily I was able to return them. I guess they didn’t look too worn.

I think I inspired you to talk about footwear, cool! I can tell you have a fair amount, because of all the different ones you showcase on Sunday mornings.
I like regular shoes as well now, but shopping for sneakers is always the most fun.
I'm very picky. I like shoes but not unless they have the right kind of heel area, the right look in the front and just 'feel' right. I have a bunch of shoes that I don't wear because I thought they were nice in the store but when I ended up wearing them, they looked aweful on my feet/legs. So, I take a long time before deciding. David laughs at me because when I try shoes on I walk in them and look in the mirror A LOT!
Michele....I do the same! And you know what sucks is when you find the "right" shoe....it fits well in the store etc. And after a week wearing them, they hurt or look odd. I've had that a few times.
Its hard for me to find shoes because of that. So I go from store to store looking for shoes.
When were in Baton Rouge, I found an awesome shoe, it fit good and looked great. They were Kenneth Cole shoes too. And on sale for $5. But get this.....the other pair was MIA!!!!!!!!! The clerk couldn't find it anywhere. Now that really sucked!!!!
Yes Chad....I was inspired by you to write about shoes...didn't know what to write though, until my coworker was complaining about her shoes and I agreed I had the same situation happen before.
