Love Song Unto Jesus

All I Want Is You
By: Planet Shakers
Album: Open Up The Gates (2003

I’ve waited all my life to be here face to face.I never knew that I could feel this kind of grace. The way You show me that Your blood has washed me clean,Could never be erased; it lives inside of me.

Take me to that secret place, Where I can only see Your Face,And nothing else will ever feel this way.You take away my guilty stains,The things I’ve done that I can’t change,It’s only by the Power of Your name.

I stand here in this place,See the Glory on Your Face,Taken by the wonder of Your name.I’m desperate for Your touch,Never needed it so much,Cause all I want is You.

When all the things around me have fallen to the groundI’m always thankful for the love in You I’ve found.

I was listening to my Planet Shakers CD this morning and the song "All I Want Is You" played. As I listened....it hit me....its a love song unto Jesus. You want to be alone...away...with Jesus. To spend time with Him....to listen to what He wants to tell you.....

I encourage you to take some time today and spend alone with Him....even if its 5 minutes.

After a long day at work, I come home and Bubble and Shanaynay greet me with smiles and high fives....I then like to take the them for a long walk, that usually lasts about 30 minutes and spend time with Jesus. I talk to Him or look around and thank Him for His creation or sing unto Him. My time with Jesus is special....because I know no matter how I feel...He is listening. I don't have to "make sense"....He hears me and knows my heart.

Be Blessed!

Waiting on God

I really like watches....I'd have a watch for every outfit if I could... However, my husband says I already have too much girly girl stuff....so ha ha ha..yet, he still manages to help me add to my collection on special occasions.
Do you ever find yourself looking at your watch and waiting for "something" or "man time has flown by!" Or remember when you were a youngin and your parents said...okay "Billy Joe, we'll run down to the store and get ice cream at 3pm." There you are staring at your watch or the clock on the wall and wishing time would FLY! Thats kinda how life is sometimes when we wev'e asked something of God...."when God when.......?" His timing is far different from ours most of the time.
Waiting on God.... why do we? Because He knows whats best.... He holds the plan for our lives and if we jump ahead of Him or out of His will....we are gonna make a mess. I have learned recently to totally trust in God. With God all things are possible. Healing, Deliverance, Salvation, whatever we need.
(Psalms 27:13-14 NKJV) I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. {14} Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!
I have found that I cannot go through my day without God. Without a talk....a prayer with Him. He guides me and His Holy Spirit dwells in my daily.
(Psalms 37:3-9 NKJV) Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. {4} Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. {5} Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. {6} He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. {7} Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. {8} Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret; it only causes harm. {9} For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the LORD, They shall inherit the earth.God is our father and His plans for us are for our good. He wants to lavish us with His goodness. Wait upon Him....trust in Him....get into His presence..(Psalms 39:7 NKJV) "And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.
"Oh God my hope is in you...in your saving grace, in your new mercies every morning. My hope and faith is in your greatness in the wonderful things you have planned for me and my family." Even though I cannot see it whatever it is....He sees it and He knows the right time. So I decide to wait on God for whatever I am asking God for. His promises are true. He loves me so much...He loves you so much and He is wanting you to say "God I will wait for you". I will trust in you.... Remember.we as children of God are NOT FORGOTTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Psalms 40:1-4 NKJV) I waited patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. {2} He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. {3} He has put a new song in my mouth; Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the LORD. {4} Blessed is that man who makes the LORD his trust, And does not respect the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Praise Him Through Your Circumstance

Praise to God is a Lifestyle
All too often, praise to God is something that many people leave at church, an event that happens only when they come together with other Christians. However, praise should be a part of a believers lifestyle, inter-mingled as a part of their daily prayer-life. At work, in the car, at home in bed, or anywhere; praise to the Lord brings the refreshing of the Lords presence, along with His power and anointing. ...I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth (Psalms 34:1).

Praise is an expression of faith, and a declaration of victory! It declares that we believe God is with us and is in control of the outcome of all our circumstances (Romans 8:28). Praise is a sacrifice, something that we offer to God sacrificially, not just because we feel like it, but also because we believe in Him and wish to please Him. By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name (Hebrews 13:15).

Praise Sends the Enemy Running
Since praise manifests Gods presence, we also realize that praise repels the presence of the enemy, Satan. An atmosphere which is filled with sincere worship and praise to God by humble and contrite hearts is disgusting to the Devil. He fears the power in the name of Jesus, and flees from the Lords habitation in praise. Whoso offered praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God (Psalms 50:23).
When the children of Judah found themselves outnumbered by the hostile armies of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, King Jehoshophat and all the people sought the Lord for His help. The Lord assured the people that this would be His battle. He told them to go out against them, and He would do the fighting for them. So what did the children of Judah do? Being the people of praise (Judah actually means Praise), and knowing that God manifests His power through praise, they sent their army against their enemies, led by the praisers!
So on they went, ahead of the army declaring, Praise the Lord, for His mercy endureth forever! And the scripture says, ...when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten (2 Chronicles 20:22).

When Gods people begin to praise His name, it sends the enemy running! I challenge you to become a person of praise, and you will experience the release of the power of God!

I found this article online today and it was like wow!!! Yes I know this stuff.and Im sure you know it toobut it helps to see it read it and be reminded. We can get through our circumstance through praise. We can praise our way to victory. I can remember one day I was feeling pretty down. And I decided I wasn't gonna let the devil have the victory, so I put on a praise and worship cd and began praising and worshipping God. I began to feel my spirit loosen up and I felt freeI didn't have that down feeling.....like a weight on my shoulders. I gave it to God and He gave me the victory. That has happened many times before. If we can just learn to do that..think of all the victory the devil will loose. So if you are feeling down or something is weighing on your mind.....give it to God and thank Him..and praise Him for the victory.
